Trevor is a Partner at the Law Offices of Parente & Norem in Chicago, where he leads the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. He is a dedicated advocate for injured workers and is known for achieving favorable outcomes in complex claims under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act, including cases involving catastrophic injuries, permanent disability, wage differential, loss of trade, and occupational exposure.
Trevor began his career representing injured workers at a prominent petitioner’s firm in Chicago before gaining valuable experience on the defense side, representing municipalities, school districts, and public safety departments. This dual perspective allows him to anticipate insurance strategies and craft litigation plans that deliver results.
He has tried numerous cases before Arbitrators, successfully appealed denials to secure critical medical and wage benefits, and deposed a wide range of medical and vocational experts to strengthen his clients’ cases.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he made the Dean’s List and participated in the Pro Bono Program and Clinic as well as the International Human Rights Clinic. He received his B.S. in Political Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato, graduating cum laude.
As head of the Workers’ Compensation Department, Trevor is committed to building a client-first practice focused on maximizing benefits and restoring financial stability for injured workers across Illinois.
