The Law Offices of Parente & Norem recently secured a $5.5 million settlement for a 44-year-old ironworker who was badly hurt in a collision with a grain truck in Will County.
In February 2022, our client was driving in Joliet when a semi-truck rear-ended his vehicle. The truck was owned by Prairie Creek Logistics Inc. and hauling grain for its related company, Prairie Creek Grain Company.
The impact caused serious injuries to our client’s neck and back. While he had some pre-existing spinal issues, he had never experienced symptoms before the crash. The collision aggravated those conditions so badly that he needed both neck and back fusion surgeries.
